ABOUT
TOURS & TRAILS
ABOUT  History: The CAROUSEL has always been the Greater Binghamton region's only free monthly alternative arts and culture publication. It began as an independently owned. The first issue was published in March 2013. Recently, in July 2018 the publication changed hands for the second time in the year. Since then, it has been owned and operated by a committee of people dedicated to keeping the paper going, mostly donating time and energy from and within the community.

Today:

CAROUSEL'S goal is as it always has been to provide unrivaled coverage of local music, art, theatre, food, and pretty much everything else under the sun.  The new committee is proud to have the chance to keep the publication going and available for you to enjoy at no charge!

Thank you for your support!

THE MISSION OF CAROUSEL: The Carousel is the Greater Binghamton region's only free monthly alternative arts and culture publication. Each month, we feature a wide array of feature pieces, showcasing the countless local talent brewing in the region. This includes sections devoted to music, art, theatre and dance, food and drink, as well as pieces on local businesses and citizens, horoscopes, and a comic section. Carousel is both a catalyst for and witness to the region's economic revival. Our features reveal positive growth amongst our community and a stronger, optimistic public is emerging.
